SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL PORTRAIT CHECKLIST
THE DAY IS HERE!!!!
IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER

Arrive in full hair and makeup 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment

Your hands will show in some of the photos. Be sure they are well manicured.

Put some thought into your casual look. This photo should represent your personality and interests.
3 different sets of photos will be taken at your session

Cap and Gown (Photographer will supply)

Formal Black drape (for girls) White Tuxedo Shirt, Bow Tie and Black Jacket (for Guys)
(Photographer will supply black drape, Black Jacket & Bow Tie)
3.Casual Look (Provided by the student) - Photos are taken from the waist up or the knees up depending on the outfit.
*Guys & Girls - Bring a change of clothes to use for your Casual Look, props are allowed such as sports equipment, hobbies, instruments. Whatever is unique to you.
For Your Formal Yearbook Portrait:

Girls MUST wear an under garment that straps are able to be taken off the shoulders. (For Formal Portraits nothing should be showing on the shoulders**) (ex. Spaghetti strap tank top, bandeau, strapless bra or any bra that will support you if the straps are off your shoulders.

Guys should wear a White T-Shirt under their White Tuxedo Style Shirt and Pants.

Your photo for the yearbook will be a formal photo in a black drape (for girls) or a white tuxedo shirt and black jacket (for guys). Guys please bring your own White Tuxedo Style Shirt to the photo session.
**If your shoulders cannot be shown due to religious or cultural beliefs drape will be pulled up to the neck.
****There will be a dressing area tent available to do touch ups prior to your photo being taken and to change outfits between formal and casual wear****
Prior to your Photo Session - Take Care of the Final Details and To-Dos

Make sure clothes are clean and wrinkle free. (Drop off items for dry cleaning 1-2 weeks ahead of time)

Gather all your shoes, accessories, jewelry, props, styling tools, etc. in one place

Double check you know your scheduled appointment time.

The best way to take great photos is to make sure you’re well rested. Do yourself a favor and get as much sleep you can the night before your session
